On Anticanonical Volumes of Weak Q-Fano Threefolds
Ching-Jui Lai (National Cheng Kung University)

Abstract

Fano varieties with canonical singularities are known to be bounded in any dimension. In particular, the anticanonical

volume - has an optimal upper/lower bound, but so far only when restricts to threefolds or KE smooth Fano one can

possibly find the optimal bounds. In this talk, we focus on dimension three and discuss how to approach this problem.

The main result in this talk is to show any weak Q-Fano threefolds of Picard rank two satisfies the optimal inequality -.
