Decomposition of Toric Morphism (II)
Chi-Kang Chang (National Taiwan University)

Abstract:

In this talk, we will discuss Miles Reid’s paper “decomposition of toric morphism” in 1982. This paper is about the minimal model program on toric varieties. In the first talk on 6/4, we given some notion about toric Mori theory, such as contraction, terminal/canonical singularities, etc. And in the second talk on 6/11, we will discuss Mori theory in toric case and give the proof of the main theorem about the decomposition of toric birational morphism.
