Projective Varieties with Strictly Nef Anticanonical Divisor

Abstract:
A conjecture of Campana-Peternell presumes that, if the anticanonical divisor of a projective variety X has strictly positive intersection with all curves, then the manifold is Fano. We show that if X is klt, then it is rationally connected. This provides an evidence to the conjecture. Furthermore, if the dimension is at most three, then we prove that X is Fano. This is joint with Jie Liu, Juanyong Wang, Xiaokui Yang and Guolei Zhong.
