Competition of n Mutated Species for a Single Nutrient with Inhibitor in a Morbidostat

Abstract
We shall study a model of competing mutated species for a single limited nutrient with inhibitor in a morbidostat. The dynamics of the model has drug-on and drug-off device according to whether the total populations exceeding a threshold parameter U or not. Mathematically it is a model of system with discontinuous right hand side for the differential equation of inhibitor. We analyze the large time behavior of the solutions and conjecture the unsolved parts by numerical simulations for extinction and coexistence of the species.
