On the Generalized Eggenberger-P\'olya Urn Models
May-Ru Chen (National Sun Yat-sen University)

Abstract

The urn models are defined as follows. There is an urn initially contained white and black balls. At each time, one ball is randomly chosen from the urn and its color is noticed. Then return the drawn ball to the urn with balls of the same color. Repeat the procedure several time. For the urn model, there are several generalizations and applications in the literature. In this talk, we first review some generalized urn models and their relative results. Next, we will introduce other generalized urn models which we studied recently and then see their relative results.
