NCTS welcomes small groups of researchers to apply for Research in Pairs program. A group may consist of two to four members, who must not be all affiliated with the same institution. Group members can spend two to four weeks in NCTS to conduct joint research intensively, in an inspiring environment to grow new ideas.

 

Applications from all mathematical areas are encouraged. NCTS provides office and all facilities needed, as well as an allowance of NTD 4,000 per day which is sufficient to cover accommodation and local expenses.

 

NCTS neighbors the NTU Department of Mathematics, and a mathematical library with very ample collections and e-journals is right next to it. With convenient transportation and hotels being within five minutes walk, NCTS could be in all aspects a fascinating place where one can enjoy his/her mathematical vacation.
