Yung-Ning Peng is currently a professor in Department of Mathematics, National Cheng Kung University. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Virginia in 2012 under the supervision of professor Weiqiang Wang and was a postdoctoral fellow at Institution of Mathematics, Academia Sinica. His research interest is in representation theory. In particular, he has been working on the study of super Yangians and their applications to the study of finite W-superalgebras and Lie superalgebras. 

彭勇寧目前為國立成功大學數學系教授。他在王偉強教授指導之下於2012年取得美國維吉尼亞大學數學博士，並在2012-2014期間於中研院數學所擔任博士後研究員。他目前的研究興趣為代數學領域當中的一個分支：表現理論。他目前的工作成果主要圍繞在超楊子的結構，以及其在李超代數與有限W-超代數的應用。
