Abstract

In this talk I will talk about the growth of the rank of Jacobian varieties over nite Galois extensions, especially the growth of the rank of elliptic curves over certain nite abelian ex-tension. As an application of elliptic curves over quadratic extensions, we will talk about a parameterization of -congruent numbers with high probability of having specic prime factors.
