Abstract: 

In this talk, I will state and explain the proof of new results on congruences modulo prime powers between eigenforms of level 1, as well as their connection with a question of Buzzard.These results extend previous work by Hatada and give further evidence towards the niteness conjecture for congruences of eigenforms of xed level.
