Homotopy Lie Theory for Zeta Functions of Smooth Projective Complete Intersections, Part I

Abstract

This talk is the first part of the two lectures on “Homotopy Lie theory for zeta functions of smooth projective complete intersections”. The goal is to derive an explicit formula for the zeta functions of smooth projective complete intersections in terms of L1 -algebras and L1 -morphisms. In the first lecture, I will explain how to construct a p -adic DGBV(Differential Gerstenhaber-Batalin-Vilkovisky) algebra structure on the p -adic Dwork complex. In the second lecture (by Junyeong Park), he will explain the explicit formula which is based on the p-adic DGBV algebra. This is an ongoing joint work with Dohyeong Kim and Junyeong Park.
